The international non government organization Global Peace Foundation Tanzania today joined with Institute of social work in Dar es salaam, in implementing the command of the president of united republic of Tanzania Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, in a way of cerebrate independence day of of Tanzania 9th december while cleaning their surroundings.
Talking to Habarizao country director for Global peace Foundation Tanzania, Martha Nghambi said they decided to involve students in the clean up campaign because this is one of their main objective to work close with youth and empower them to think positive and stay away from all forms of radicalization and extremism.
Nghambi also encourage students and management of institute of social work to ensure that clean up campaign is sustainable.
Stella WAdson the vice president of the institute congratulated Global Peace Foundation Tanzania for their initiatives and to involve them in this campaign, and she also encourage other organizations to follow the foot step of GPFTZ.
Dr. Abu Mvungi the principle of social work also joined GPFTZ team clean up campaign and he said that he his very honored to work with them.
